That same sense of honest, straightforward beauty is what I noticed during my trip to Hope, BC. What I love most is that Hope hasn’t been overrun by chains or tourist traps. You still get that genuine, small-town feeling that’s getting harder to find these days. I even had a chat with a local artist who was selling his landscape paintings — turns out, many of them were inspired by the Fraser Canyon views right outside town. It made me realize that Hope isn’t just a stop along the way, it’s a destination in itself if you take the time to explore it properly.
