We usually go on family holidays to Italy or Croatia, but this year I’d like to try something less obvious. A colleague suggested Georgia, which honestly I know very little about apart from khachapuri (cheese bread, right?). My concern is traveling with kids – I don’t want endless hours of driving or staying in places that don’t have the level of comfort we’re used to. Has anyone here tried a family-friendly but still premium holiday in Georgia? We’d be flying from London, so I’d love to know if it’s manageable and if the experience is actually worth it compared to Europe.

Georgia is a fantastic choice—beautiful, family-friendly, and not too touristy. We went with kids and stayed in comfortable places without long drives. Tbilisi makes a great base with easy trips to wine country or the mountains. Worth it for the food, views, and culture!

We did exactly that last summer, and Georgia was a huge hit with both adults and kids. What helped us a lot was using https://premiumgeorgia.com/ because they put together a custom plan. We had private transfers, which saved the stress of long drives, and stayed in boutique hotels with pools (great for the kids). The highlight was a cooking workshop where the kids learned to make khachapuri with a local chef – they still talk about it. The balance of culture, food, nature, and comfort was spot on. From London, the flight was shorter than I expected, and once we got there everything was seamless. It felt like an adventure, but still luxury.
