Gator Gold GigaBlox By Yggdrasil Releasing 27/05/2021

The Yggdrasil Gigablox series continues with Gator Gold GigaBlox set to release on the 27th May 2021 this version takes you on a trip to Africa. The savannah based landscape of the game features Alligators, Lionesses, Buffalo, Zebra and Mere cats ontop off the usual slot game symbols and it is these that will hopefully allow the player to unlock its max win of 20,000x it also has an RTP of 96% with the game being described as having a mid to low volatility.

The base game of Gator Gold Gigablox is played across an ever changing grid thanks to the gigablox feature previously seen in Lucky Neko Gigablox, Hades Gigablox, and Gigarise Atlantis. With the reels guaranteed to change in size each spin its easier to quantify the base games paylines which stretch across 4096 paylines. Wins will trigger with any three or more symbols landing across the first three reels inclusive off the "Gator Wild" symbol however the biggest paying symbol the golden gator will only need to match two symbols to trigger a win. The Bonus will be hit upon landing 5 free spin symbols.

The number of bonus spins awarded equals the number of symbols matched for example 5 free spin symbols will give 5 free spins, 6 inevitably will give 6 free spins and so on. If you are lucky enough to spin-in additional Free Spin symbols during the bonus round, you’ll gain one extra bonus spin for each symbol as shown below. During the bonus itself multipliers are added to the game being both a x2 and x3 multiplier and these help boost your wins accordingly. However there really isn't anything to dissimilar from the base game to the bonus other than these multiplier symbols. The bonus on average triggers once every 123 spins according to Yggdrasil themselves but this is of course not guaranteed.

During our time with Gator Gold Gigablox the base game did start off rather fun with each spin changing up the reel sizes and allowing for big wins however this feature quickly becomes tiresome as it is again repeated in the bonus without much change or ingenuity. If the Gigablox franchise is something you enjoy this is for sure the game for you but at least for us after over an hour of play the feature struggled to hold our attention, ontop of that its mid to low volatility really isn't worth the grind to land the bonus itself and because of this monotony we give it our Genius Gambling rating of 5 out of 10. You can as always be the judge yourselves when its released on the 27th May 2021. It'll also be releasing on Platin Casino where you can deposit £20 and get £50 bonus funds and 50 free spins please check all terms and conditions prior to sign up and as always gamble responsibly.
